What we noticed is that the experience could be simpler. Accounts to create before you can even start, closed catalogues that limit you to a single store: so much friction that no longer has any real reason to exist in 2026.

Paste a link from Amazon, IKEA, Etsy or any other online shop. The title, price and image are pulled in automatically. You can also add gifts manually or turn on a group gift for the bigger purchases.

MagicListe is a free service designed for parents-to-be — and more broadly for anyone organising an event (a wedding, a birthday, a colleague's send-off) who wants to create a simple list without being tied to a single store. Unlike a baby store's registry, such as Aubert's, MagicListe lets you add gifts from any online shop.
It's built to be as fast as possible: you paste a product link and MagicListe automatically pulls in the title, price and image. No need to hunt for each item in a limited catalogue.
For the pricier gifts (stroller, car seat, crib), MagicListe offers a group gift: each friend or family member notes on the list the amount they'd like to give, then sends it to you directly, outside the site, instead of buying the whole gift. It's also handy for pooling contributions toward a group present.

Online baby registry vs. in-store
Lists offered by baby stores are tied to their own catalogue: at Aubert, for example, only products sold by the store can be bought from the list. MagicListe works differently: you paste a link from any site, and the product is added to your list.

The two approaches aren't necessarily at odds. Some parents create an in-store registry for the products they want to try out in person, and an online list for everything else. Aubert's and Bébé9's terms as checked on their own websites on 25 September 2026; they may change.

How do I create a list on MagicListe?
Creating a list takes less than 2 minutes. Choose the event type (baby, wedding, birthday or other), enter your names and your email. Then add gifts by pasting links from any online shop (Amazon, IKEA, Etsy, or any other store). The title, price and image are pulled in automatically.
Can I add or edit gifts after creating my list?
Yes, at any time. Your list stays editable after you create it, and even after you've shared it: add gifts as the weeks go by, correct a price, remove anything you no longer want (we ask you to confirm if someone has already reserved or bought it). The link your friends and family already have always shows the up-to-date version. You can even change your list's name and its link without breaking links you've already sent.
Am I limited to a single store?
No. MagicListe is multi-store: you add gifts by pasting a link from any site (Amazon, IKEA, Etsy, or even a small independent shop). You choose the products, not the platform.
How does the group gift work on MagicListe?
For the pricier gifts, you can turn on a group gift. Your friends and family chip in whatever amount they like instead of buying the whole gift. It's ideal for big purchases like a stroller or a car seat.
How do my friends and family access my list?
You share a simple link (by WhatsApp, SMS, email or social media). Your friends and family see the list without needing to create an account. They pick a gift, click, and are redirected to the shop to buy it, or they chip in on a group gift.
Can I ask for gifts to be delivered to my home?
Your friends and family buy on the store's own website, so you can't require it. But MagicListe puts your address where they will see it. Add it to your list: a button at the top of the page shows it, it appears as soon as they reserve, right under the buy button, and it appears in their recap email if they ask for one. A line in your welcome message removes any last hesitation.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There's no password and no account to create on MagicListe. Your session stays open on the device you created the list on; from another one, you request an access link by email using the address you signed up with. Your friends and family don't need to sign up at all to give a gift.
What are the advantages of MagicListe over in-store registries?
MagicListe lets you add products from any website, whereas a baby store's registry can be tied to its own catalogue: at Aubert, only products sold by the store can be bought from the list. With MagicListe, parents don't need an account: an email is enough, no password. And group-gift contributions go straight to the parents, whereas an Aubert group gift is spent in Aubert stores or on its website. That said, an in-store registry can offer the benefit of advice in the shop and the chance to see products in person.
How does the service make money?
Some links to online shops are affiliate links: when a purchase is made through one of them, MagicListe may earn a commission from the partner shop (notably via Amazon Associates, Awin, Effinity or Affilae), at no extra cost to the buyer. These commissions help fund the service while keeping it free. They don't influence the ranking or selection of products in the lists.
